From My Niece's Blog I

My highlight of the trip was a visit to a strawberry farm! I've always wanted to go to a strawberry farm and finally i did it. come to think of it, i did many things this trip that i have never done before. I was super enthu about picking the strawberries! the soil was muddy, only the farmhand working there dared to walk on it. but i did too! hahah..and went back w v muddy slippers..=(

I ate one while picking it and it was so incredibly sweet! not sweet like candy kind of sweet but it's the sweetest strawberry i have ever eaten cos usually they are sour but the ones there were really sweet! And they are organic strawberries. u see q a lot of insects. but it also means u dun have to wash it before eating them! haha..
strawberries are such pretty fruits. nice and red. but i was a little surprised and made my uncle very amused when i told him that all along i thought strawberries grow on trees. I really expected to walk into an orchard of strawberry trees rather than seeing them grow on the ground...
Enthu me picking strawberries. I can be a farmhand too!
rows after rows of strawberries. heh...
Us at a hot spring. I look like a nice big sister right?
My uncle had a sprained/strained ankle so he went to the hot spring for its healing powers!

hahha. i dun quite believe though. Maybe u could add the same minerals to warm water and get the same healing effect. I think the water is quite dirty after having so many pple soak in it.

Quite an amusing photo i feel... but wonderful advertising for the hot spring.

We visited a volcano! First volcano i have ever seen..This depression you see is the crater in the volcano that spurts out larva. It took me quite long to realise that cos all the pictures of volcanoes i've seen are far-away shots. This is what you call a city kid. Volcano also nv see before. haha.
I climbed over the fence to take this dangerous shot. heh. i cant really stand the smell of sulfur though. I wonder if it's poisonous to breathe in too much of it.
Imagine if someone pushed me. AH!
My aunt and Yonathan.

Me reading a book under the nice cool shy. But it started to drizzle after a while and got too chilly. so i only stayed there long enough to take some photos of me pretending to be so romantic. haha.
Going up to the rooftop! The wing beside the villa. It's so sweet right? I can just imagine this place as the setting in a romantic novel. gosh...

Me at the swing. There are even vines growing above the swing. Perfect man. There's this mini watermelon-like thingie growing on the vines. It really really looks like a watermelon...

The rooftop of the third villa! it's really spectacular..such a simple place a simple house but you get to enjoy such good views when you go to the top. The air is so fresh and cool and it immediately brightens up your day. LOVELY!

look at the mountains in the distance...

My uncle's family on the tram in Taman Safari...

My uncle and I. we're pretending that someone else is taking the photo for us when actually he took it himself, by holding out one arm. haha. he's always doing silly things like that although he's almost as old as my mum. but hey, he's the most fun uncle to be around with.

at the third villa. the living room is very japanese i feel. it has the typical raised platform and you sit on cushions around the coffee table. Not a bad idea. But pple like anqi would still die die wan a sofa. the third villa is the nicest by far. heh, as my uncle says, the trip gets better and better. the villas get nicer, we go higher up the mountain, further away form the city, the weather gets cooler... it's shiok!

That's what Yonathan does when he asks him to say cheese - act cute. hahha. but he is already very cute.

I love him!
